Engineering Requirements
ER-1.
Product must be able to scan for and detect up to 5 tags in one operation.
ER-2.1.
Product will detect a tag up to 6 ft away.
ER-2.2.
Product will indicate the direction of the location of the RFID tag with an accuracy of 10 degrees.
ER-3.
Product operates in the 915 MHz ISM band.
ER-3.1.
Product’s total output power must be less than 30 dBm.
ER-3.2.
Product’s Effective Isotropic Radiated Power (EIRP) must be less than 4 W.
ER-4.
Product will cost under $750 to manufacture.
ER-5.
Product must be able to operate in temperatures between 37ºF to 80ºF.
ER-6.
Product must be no larger than 3 cubic feet.
ER-7.
Product data will be visually available on an LCD screen.
ER-8.
Product will not consume more than 3 A total.
